As the world’s largest digital art gallery, THE LUME Melbourne has been proud to host experiences that have captivated and mesmerised hundreds of thousands of visitors since opening in 2021.
A showcase of First Peoples' art and music, Connection celebrated our country’s rich and enduring cultural history from June 2023 to February 2024.
Encapsulating nearly 650 paintings by more than 110 artists, the digital experience was complemented by a Gallery of Original Art, an interactive Art Play space, the first public display of Emily Kame Kngwarreye's Emily's Wall in Australia, and more.
Daring, intriguing and uplifting, much like the works of the Impressionists themselves, Monet & Friends compelled visitors to leave the world behind and step inside a fascinating period of art between October 2022 and June 2023.
A stunning explosion of life, light and colour, the experience celebrated the key characteristics of the Impressionist movement, as represented by the likes of Monet’s water lilies and Degas’ ballerinas.
THE LUME Melbourne’s inaugural experience, Van Gogh Alive was an epic adventure into the life and works of Vincent van Gogh, and opened in November 2022.
A journey through the Netherlands, Paris, Arles, Saint-Rémy and Auvers-sur-Oise, where Van Gogh created many of his timeless masterpieces, the experience gave visitors a vivid sense of Van Gogh’s thoughts, feelings and state of mind.
